General Correspondence

One major caveat with general correspondence is that we edit documents, we do not write a document from scratch.  The contents of the documents will be based on what the customer has written, while our contribution is focused on making sure that this is properly presented, properly spelled, and grammatically correct.  We will work with you to make sure that the information we work with is complete and sufficient input for the creation of properly formatted documents.

To do note padThat said, we are very flexible in the input from which we assemble the correspondence, in that we can compose the documents using standards that are generally accepted.  The intent is to help people overcome obstacles: not to create further obstacles to your ability to communicate through formal correspondence.  We can also create form letters that help you write subsequent letters on your own, depending on what your needs are.  It does not matter what subject matter is involved, all our work is completely confidential.

The service we offer is not restricted to new Canadians – there are many people that find it challenging to write formal correspondence.  The bottom line is that you should tell us WHAT you want to communicate, and we focus on HOW to communicate to put it in writing so that you get to sign the correspondence and mail it as your own.  You can get most basic correspondence completed for $50, by putting the rough information in a correspondence order form.

Academic help

As noted before, this can be a touchy subject, because some colleges will overreact and claim academic dishonesty for a professionally formatted and presented result: this penalizes a student who for valid reasons cannot format and present results in a formal document to get full credit.  We recommend that, before they use our services, students clear this with their college to make sure we avoid any negative consequences.

  • If you have permission the recommended process is as follows:
  • Complete your report, or other academic writing, in draft format.  Make sure it is ready for submission before you have us polish it up for you.
  • Email us the document: the easiest way is to scan it in your computer and make it a single document that you can E-mail to us using the Letter form and option “Attach” to attach your academic writing.
  • We will review your request, and estimate the effort to format the information without materially changing the contents.  If we think you have problems we will tell you so, but (for academic honesty reasons) we cannot fix the problems.
  • We mail you payment instructions.
  • When we receive your payment we usually have the document back to you in 48 hours.  Please complete your draft materials with sufficient time to spare for us to format the document.
  • Staple your original materials to the formatted materials and hand both in to your teacher, so they can verify that you have done all but the formatting work.

Formal Letters

We collected a rich library of formal correspondence to use as templates for creating all kinds of targeted correspondence for our customers.  You can request specific formats if you have a preference, or we can select one that we think suits your needs.  The steps in the process are quite simple:

  • Prepare the rough text of what you want to communicate, even in point form, so that we can understand the exact intent of your communication.  Save that in Notepad on your computer.
  • Click through to our input form (illustrated below).
  • Fill out the form: your name, address, E-mail, and contact phone numbers.
  • Cut and past the rough text from Notepad into the submission form below.
  • Click on “Do it” à this will take you to our payment site.
  • Select the option “letters”, and select the number of multiples of 2 pages.
  • When the payment is completed we will get you the correspondence in 2 days.
  • Make sure we have enough information to complete your letter, or else we need to go back and forth to get the letter completed (this is part of the total price of the service).  Normally we produce letters in PDF format so that the customer does not have to have MS-Word on their computer to use the results.  However, as shown in the example, you can ask for output in different formats:

When you go to the payment site, select [LETTERS] and a number [1] = up to 2 pages, as outlined in the table below, so that the per-page rate declines for larger documents:
